The BMC G3 Auto BPAP System with Humidifier (G3 LAB) is a bi-level device intended for use in sleep laboratories for the treatment and titration of patients with sleep apnea and/or respiratory insufficiency.
The device is designed to follow the patient’s spontaneous breathing. If no inhalation is detected for a defined period, the system delivers forced ventilation to maintain a minimum ventilation volume.
Based on patient needs, a Target Tidal Volume can be set. The device then automatically adjusts the pressure support level to reach the preset tidal volume, supporting effective ventilation.
During therapy, the device detects air leakage in real time and adjusts the baseline to maintain accurate triggering and related functions. Ti min and Ti max can be set independently to help avoid insufficient ventilation caused by short inspiratory time. This also helps prevent situations where expiratory sensitivity cannot be met due to excessive leakage.
