ResMed AirSense™ 11 CPAP is a next-generation CPAP device combining proven AutoSet™ therapy algorithms with digital support features, designed to support comfortable, effective sleep apnea therapy and remote monitoring.
ResMed AirSense™ 11 CPAP is a user-friendly CPAP device that combines advanced technology with proven therapy modes¹–³ to support effective and quality sleep apnea therapy.
An auto-adjusting device that modifies airflow pressure on a breath-by-breath basis. This model also includes the AutoSet™ for Her algorithm.
A fixed-pressure device designed to deliver a single, consistent therapy pressure.
Advanced Therapy Acclimation and Support Features
AirSense™ 11 represents ResMed’s next generation of sleep apnea therapy, bringing together proven¹–³ algorithms and technologies with newer digital innovations. Its design supports users in feeling more confident about their treatment, with the aim of providing a more comfortable and user-friendly therapy experience that supports therapy initiation, adherence, and clinical outcomes.
AirSense™ 11 combines ResMed’s established¹–³ AutoSet™ and AutoSet™ for Her† therapy algorithms with digital care features including Personal Therapy Assistant, Test Drive within ResMed myAir™, and Care Check-In. These features allow device setup to be tailored to individual needs and enable therapy progress to be monitored remotely via AirView™.
Whether setup is completed remotely or in person, Personal Therapy Assistant offers an interactive experience intended to support users as they begin therapy and address common therapy-related issues. Available through ResMed’s patient engagement app, myAir™≠, Personal Therapy Assistant provides voice-guided video setup instructions as well as Test Drive, a therapy acclimation tool designed to help users become more comfortable using their AirSense™ 11 device.
Supporting users in resolving common therapy issues may help improve compliance and reduce the need for troubleshooting calls and mask refits.
Support for starting CPAP therapy is built into AirSense™ 11 through the Care Check-In feature.
Time-based check-in questions are presented throughout the first 28 days of therapy via the myAir app‡ or directly on the device. Additional check-ins occur every six months after purchase. These check-ins allow users to share feedback on their therapy progression.
Responses generate tailored coaching advice and support, encouraging continued therapy use and assisting with troubleshooting common therapy issues. If users choose to opt in, response data can be viewed in AirView™*, providing additional insight into therapy progress and enabling earlier intervention when needed.
Automatic over-the-air updates˄ help ensure that AirSense™ 11 devices receive future ResMed software and feature updates, allowing access to the latest available technology over time.
AirSense™ 11 includes both the AutoSet™ and AutoSet™ for Her algorithms, which are among the most clinically published in the field of sleep-disordered breathing. These algorithms are designed to automatically adjust therapy pressure as patient needs change—hourly, nightly, and seasonally—to deliver the lowest effective therapy pressure.
- Touchscreen interface designed for simple and intuitive navigation of settings
- Advanced event detection identifies central sleep apnea, respiratory effort–related arousal, and Cheyne–Stokes respiration events
- AirView™ connectivity enables access to nightly therapy data, remote troubleshooting via Remote Assist, and remote adjustment of device settings
- AutoRamp™ with sleep onset detection starts therapy at a low pressure to support sleep initiation, then increases to the prescribed pressure once sleep is detected
- Expiratory pressure relief (EPR™) maintains treatment pressure during inhalation and reduces pressure during exhalation
- AutoSet Response± comfort setting offers gentler pressure increases to support users with high-pressure intolerance
- Integrated heated humidifier can be controlled manually or automatically using the Climate Control feature
- Ambient light sensor automatically adjusts screen brightness based on room lighting and turns the display off when appropriate
